Travel Information

Air: Arrival is through Sir Seretse Khama Airport. Courtesy buses from some of the big hotels in Gaborone meet all scheduled flights. If you have booked one of the smaller hotels or lodges, you would need to arrange to be met at the airport. Alternatively, you can ask the conference organizers to arrange transportation for you for a small fee.

Road: The roads into/out of Gaborone are all fine. Participants are urged to drive with care as cattle and goats often stray into the roads. There is ample parking space in the hotels and at the University of Botswana.

Visas

Please inquire from your travel agent whether you need a visa to get to Botswana. The visa fee is P500. Should you need the conference organizers' help in procuring a visa, please contact Ms Seatholo Tumedi at email: tumedism@mopipi.ub.bw or tel: 267 3552667.
